Bosch (part of the BSH Group)General Bosch InformationBosch, as a long-established company and a key part of the Bosch Siemens Home Appliances (BSH) Group, makes induction units that can be expected to share at least some qualities and features with those of their sister brands: Balay, Constructa, Gaggenau, Lynx, Neff, Siemens, and Thermador. Bosch itself, considered over its full international spectrum of operations, makes literally dozens of units (last time we counted, seven dozen), which may safely be assumed to comprise numerous minor national or trim variations on a small number of base model types. In the U.S., Bosch offers three fairly similar lines--the 300, the 500, and the 800--each with the usual 30-inch and 36-inch units (well, almost: the 300 line presently has no 36-inch unit). Also, while both the 30-inch models (the x065 units) and the 36-inch models (the x665 units) have an 11-inch element, on the wider units it is dual-zone and capable of 4.4 kW when boosted (on the smaller models, it boosts to 3.6-kW and is a single-zone element).
