Diva de ProvenceGeneral Diva de Provence InformationAs always in these listings, we give these standard general--
Diva de Provence Induction-Unit DataDiva de Provence induction units use components from at least three sources: Fagor (who supply many companies), Jaeger Controls (who supply at least Wolf), and Menu System (we don't know who else they might supply); whether they are standard (meaning as used in other induction lines) or made to Diva's own specifications, we do not know. Diva has two induction lines: a "residential" line with four units, and a "commercial" line with three. The residential units are all build-in modules, while the commercial units are a single element that can be had as a build-in or as a freestanding countertop item and a dual build-in countertop unit. Diva is expected to add to its commercial line an induction wok and an induction griddle. In its residential line, Diva has sought to cover all the bases: a "domino" unit, the now-standard 4-element 30-inch unit and 5-element 36-inch unit, and a unique 24-inch, three-element unit; units like that last are common in Europe, where kitchen space is typically at a premium even in upscale residences, but not in North America (not yet, anyway); Diva targets the unit, we believe, at condo owners, who also often have to fight counter-space problems when re-doing a kitchen. The unit offers a large, high-power element plus two serviceable others; it can be the answer for anyone with counter-space issues. The larger units in Diva's residential line, the 30- and 36-inch ones, can also be had in white; few other makers offer anything but the near-universal "basic black". Final note: for commercial uses, Diva also offers custom "suites" of induction equipment--you'd have to ask them for details.
