Elco & Thermaline (parts of the Electrolux Group)General Elco/Thermaline InformationThe brand terminology here can be confusing. Electrolux maintains a so-called "Electrolux Professional" division (we suppose that's what it is, a "division"), web-site marked as electrolux-foodservice. Within it, there are what we would call "brands", Elco and Thermaline, but which Electrolux apparently thinks of as something other than brands--"lines" possibly? Let's start with what Electrolux themselves say: Electrolux Professional goes to market with four leading brands: Electrolux, Dito Electrolux, Molteni, and Zanussi Professional. Electrolux is their leading international brand, supplying a full range of foodservice and laundry solutions to customers such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, health care institutions, staff canteens, coin-operated launderettes and retailers. Dito Electrolux offers labor-saving, dynamic food preparation equipment and compact, high performance plug-in solutions for locations without a kitchen. Molteni is a prestigious international brand for made-to-measure stoves which can be found in the kitchens of world famous chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Paul Bocuse, Terje Ness, Joel Robuchon and many others. A symbiosis of traditional stoves and the most advanced technologies, Molteni stoves have been made-to-measure for customers for nearly 80 years. Zanussi Professional is a leading brand in several local markets for full kitchen solutions, especially popular with hotel and restaurant customers. Notice not one citation of "Elco" or "Thermaline"; presumably, then, they are components ("lines"?) of Electrolux proper. But frankly, sorting out all this corporate whacko-speak is more than we care to bother with. If it amuses you, help yourself. Here, we have a separate page for the Dito and Molteni names, and this one for the Elco and Thermaline names, which we call, for convenience (our convenience) "Elco". We'll add Zanussi professional to our existing Zanussi page when we can. Both Elco and Thermaline offer, not individual products in the usual sense, but "systems", modules that fit together both practically and esthetically to make a total working commercial kitchen. Their various Systems each encompass hundreds of items; here, we have focussed only on those that are induction-powered. As always in these listings, we give these standard general--
Elco Induction-Systems DataFor each System, we show here only the induction-powered components: as noted above, there are, for each, vastly more available modules and pieces. Also, each item shown here will typically have a small solar system of accessories associated with it; those will show in the detailed listings in the items' PDF documentation. Where, for a given description, multiple availabilites are shown (that is, "4 Xx's"), they are basically the same thing but in variations such as differing depths or supply voltage (such as 230 volts versus 400 volts).
