This unit carries on Viking's tradition of equal-sized square-looking (of course, the elements underneath are actually round) cooking zones and knob controls in a bank down the right side (eating some of the available surface area). There is a corresponding 30-inch-width unit available. Note that Viking kitchen appliances have had a strikingly poor reputation concerning reliability; the company is under new ownership, but they'll be metaphorically trying to turn a battleship.
