About the Bosch NITP068SUC Induction build-in cooktop

General Description

This is a four-element, 30-inch-wide induction cooktop with the special feature of having a left side element set that can be used as two separate elements, or run as a single element to allow use of long or otherwise oversize cooking vessels. It also has real timers (they are not mere "alarm clocks" but actually turn off the elements at timeout). And the unit only requires a 30-amp circuit, a rarity today and invaluable in older kitchens.

This unit has stainless-steel trim front and back. It has a sister unit that is "frameless" (no steel trim), the NITP068UC; it also has a corresponding pair of "big sisters" of 36" width, the NITP668UC (steel trim) and the NITP668UC (frameless).
